yes, it's true.
My wedding dress, which is actually a mother-of-the-bride dress from David's Bridal, is out of this world. It's everything a girl could want in a frock - it's flowy, sparkly, sexy, and all mine.
I made two drastic changes to the dress, A) lowered the V in the back to look more risque', and B) sewed on a lovely, vintage patch on the back right above my bum. This patch, with it's 1920s feel and hundreds of pearls and sequins, takes my dress to a whole new level where people say things to the affect of, "I have never seen a dress so personal and beautiful," and "I love that you made this dress your own."
Its the type of detail that when I arrive at the altar, with my back facing the crowd, instead of a long, magnificent train, they will lay their eyes on a pearly, crystal masterpiece hugging my curves ever so slightly.
My last fitting was today. Which means, the next time I step into it will be for real. The next time I take it off, I will be married. I will not longer be a bride, but a super, smokin' hot wife.
Countdown is at 34 days.
